Welcome to LaptopMarket.lk. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of laptopmarket.lk
and any purchase you make from us. By accessing the website, creating an account or placing
an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old, or use the website under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
- Please provide accurate and up-to-date information and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or are used fraudulently.
2. Products and Pricing
- We sell brand new and pre-owned laptops, gaming laptops, accessories and components. We try to display specifications, images and descriptions as accurately as possible, but actual products may differ slightly in appearance from the images shown.
- Pre-owned laptops are sold in the condition described on the product listing (for example, "A Grade condition"). Minor signs of previous use may be present on pre-owned items.
- Where a listing offers options (for example, different storage or RAM sizes), please confirm your chosen configuration with us before ordering.
- All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and may change without notice. The price that applies is the one shown at the time you place your order.
- Products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you and offer an alternative or a refund.
- If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid.
3. Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. An order is accepted once we confirm it by email, SMS or
phone. We may refuse or cancel any order, for example because of stock issues, pricing
errors or suspected fraud. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund
you in full.
4. Payment
- You can pay using the payment methods shown at checkout. Some methods may offer discounts, which are shown before you confirm your order.
- Online card payments are processed securely by our payment partners. We do not store your full card details.
- Your order will be processed once payment is confirmed, or on delivery for payment methods that allow it.
5. Delivery
- We deliver within Sri Lanka through our courier partners. Delivery charges depend on the courier, shipping method and destination, and are shown at checkout.
- Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, public holidays, weather or other events outside our control.
- Please make sure your delivery address and phone number are correct. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect details.
- Check your package when you receive it and tell us within 48 hours if anything is missing or damaged. We recommend recording a short video when opening the package.
6. Warranty
- Our laptops and computers are covered by a one-to-one replacement warranty. The warranty period for each product is stated on the product listing or your invoice.
- To make a warranty claim, contact us with your order number or invoice and a description of the fault, and bring or send the product to us as instructed.
- If the fault is covered, we will replace the product with the same item or an equivalent one, subject to availability.
- The warranty does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, burns, unauthorised repairs or modifications, software or virus issues, tampered or removed warranty seals, or normal wear and tear such as batteries wearing with use, unless stated otherwise on your invoice.
- Please back up your data before handing in any device. We are not responsible for data loss.
7. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
- If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos or a video of the item and packaging.
- Items must be returned with all original accessories, chargers, packaging and documents.
- We may not accept returns for items damaged through misuse, items with missing parts, or items that have been altered or repaired by others.
- Once a return is approved and inspected, we will offer a replacement, exchange or refund. Refunds are made to the original payment method and may take up to 14 working days.

8. Promotions and Discounts
Promotions, vouchers (including cash back vouchers) and discount codes are subject to their
own conditions, are valid only for the stated period and cannot be exchanged for cash.
We may withdraw or change a promotion at any time.
9. Use of the Website
You agree not to:
- Use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
- Try to gain unauthorised access to the website, other accounts or our systems.
- Copy, scrape or reuse website content, images or product information without our written permission.
- Interfere with the security or proper working of the website.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and images, belongs to
LaptopMarket.lk or its licensors. Product names and brands such as Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus,
Acer and Sony are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the
products we sell.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, LaptopMarket.lk is not liable for any indirect or consequential
loss, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the website or products
bought from us. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that
order. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under Sri Lankan law.
12. Privacy
Your use of the website is also governed by our
Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use
your personal information.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on
this page. The Terms in force when you place an order apply to that order.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, and
any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
